Will the 2016 CR-V in Osage, Iowa, Be Getting a Hybrid Upgrade? | Luther Mankato Honda

CR-V Upgrade

We have news, but it’s not certain. However, we’ll tell you everything we do know.

The next Honda CR-V might be making its debut in 2017. It’s possible that this crossover will be available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. We’re on the edge of our seats.

If you’re not patient enough, we encourage you to check out the 2016 CR-V in Osage, Iowa. You can shop 2016 CR-V Inventory in Osage, Iowa, here

2017 is a great estimate for the next generation model to make its appearance. According to HybridCars.com, details are scarce, but reports suggest that this CR-V is being developed in North America.

A Hybrid CR-V? We’re intrigued.

Like we said earlier, there is not much detail, but a Japanese media outlet has reported that the plug-in hybrid variant will have a 2-liter gas engine that mates with an electric motor.

Styled After the Civic?

We have heard that the next CR-V will actually borrow some of its styling from the 2016 Honda Civic. Given the fact that the CR-V will share its platform with the Civic, that comes as no surprise to us.

We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available, but we’re excited by what we’ve heard.
